The Task
The task was simple: capture the spirit of Munster GAA matchdays and showcase the sport in a way it’s never been seen before. While long-form content already had a home, the goal here was to create cinematic, fast-turnaround social content that captured emotion, energy, and atmosphere — live, raw, and powerful.

It starts long before the final. We meet up early to go back over the season’s shoots and matches, see what worked and lock in every role before the day arrives.
Game Day
On the day we’re at the stadium four hours before the first ball. A team briefing locks in everyone’s role: where they are, what they’re shooting and how the day runs. Then a walk of the ground to line up our shots before the crowds arrive, and the madness begins.
Showtime
It’s a show before the match even starts. Calm stadium shots, then all at once the teams arrive, the music starts and the fans pour in. Two teams cover every angle, from the stands to pitchside to the buses arriving.

Celebrations
The final whistle is pandemonium. We plan for it. We know before the game exactly what we want the second it goes: the winning manager, the players, the fans. With no pitch invasion in those first moments we get right up close, then cover the cup lift from every position, someone front on and someone up in the stands looking back out. There is only one chance at that trophy going up, so we make sure we get it.
Post Match
Game over, and the real work starts. The hero recap gets built straight away, with standalone clips, social edits and graphics all rolling out across the next few hours while it’s still fresh.

A few words from Ben
To cap it off, a few words from Ben on what the season was really like. Fast, creative and a bit mad, with two crews working different matches across the country some weekends, everyone pushing to get content out while it still mattered. Long days and early starts, but the kind of work we love, and the reason it lands the way it does.
